ASME - CERTIFIED BLASTING MACHINE

An Abrasive Blasting machine is a type of equipment used to remove surface contaminants from a variety of objects. It typically uses a compressed air stream to propel abrasive media at a high velocity, removing material from the surface of the object. The abrasive material used can vary from metal shot, glass beads, or silicon-based abrasives depending on the type of surface being worked on.

The machine may also include a variety of features such as multiple blasting nozzles to increase the coverage area, adjustable flow controls to accurately control the stream’s power, and exhaust systems to collect the abrasive materials. The overall goal is to create a smooth, uniform surface on the object, while eliminating hard-to-reach areas. This process is often used to prepare a surface before applying a coating or paint.

Abrasive Blast Machines are fabricated in accordance with ASME pressure vessel code section VIII to a working pressure of 150 psi.

Large semi-pneumatic tires are ideal for maneuvering the abrasive blast pot around the worksite.
